The report said Lok Sabha and Rajya spent less than one-fifth of the total time on legislative business, while the number of MPs participating in the discussion on have come down from 11.5 per cent in 2008 to just 8.8 per cent in 2009. It said there has been a dramatic increase in the wealth of the MPs, adding that wealth of Congress MP L Rajgopal recorded a whooping 3,023 per cent increase since 2004.
