PNGO addresses EU Representative to Palestine

The Palestinian NGOs Network "PNGO" addresses Mr John Gatt-Rutter, EU Representative to Palestine, while Israeli occupation offensive against the Palestinian people continue and in the light of the occupation's aerial, naval and artillery bombardment of the Palestinian houses and civil society organizations in the Gaza Strip, that left more than two hundred martyrs most of whom are children, women and elders and displaced hundreds of families leaving them with a shelter after destroying their houses, as well as destroyed agricultural lands, fishing boats, factories, and civil society organizations.

The Palestinian NGOs Network "PNGO" addressing you today while Israeli occupation offensive against the Palestinian people continue and in the light of the occupation's aerial, naval and artillery bombardment of the Palestinian houses and civil society organizations in the Gaza Strip, that left more than two hundred martyrs most of whom are children, women and elders and displaced hundreds of families leaving them with a shelter after destroying their houses, as well as destroyed agricultural lands, fishing boats, factories, and civil society organizations.

We are writing to you in the moment while thousands of Palestinian people in the east and north of the Gaza Strip are forced and warned by the Israeli occupation to leave their houses amid an Israeli led clean-up campaign and in the light of the continuing bombardment and systematic destruction.

The Israeli occupation's continuing offensive against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is not separated from the Israeli army's and settlers' daily assaults and violation in the West bank and Jerusalem, which reflects the facts and the policy that the occupation pursue against the Palestinians including the violation of the international conventions and treaties including Fourth Geneva Convention.

The Israel offensive, in the Gaza Strip; the home of 1.8 million Palestinian, comes in the light of the Israeli continuing tight siege for the seventh year in arrow and its repercussions on the health, financial, and social situation there.

Under difficult circumstances and the Israeli threats to launch a military ground campaign in the Gaza Strip that have repercussions on the life of the Palestinian people, We call on you to intensify your efforts at all levels:

First, to completely stop the Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip including the military operation as well as to lift the unjust siege of the Gaza Strip and open all Gaza borders for free movement of people and goods.

Secondly, to provide the international protection for the Palestinian civilians and support and protect the rights of the Palestinian people

Thirdly. to contribute in coordination for starting the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip and secure the basic services such as water and electricity for people.
Fourthly, prosecute the Israeli war criminals and isolate the Israeli occupation state and boycott it at all levels.

We, the Palestinian NGOs Network, believe that the basic solution to the Palestinian cause is to secure the full rights to the Palestinian people including the right to return, and the right to establish an independent state of Palestine with a capital in Jerusalem.
And last but not least, we, the Palestinian NGOs Network appreciate your efforts and your support to the Palestinian national unity and the national unity government in the face of the Israeli threats that aims at deepening the Palestinian internal split and isolate the Palestinian territories.
