Due to the limited number of rooms in Sulo Riviera Hotel, room assignments of participants will either be in Sulo Riviera Hotel or Fersal Hotel. Fersal Hotel is located by walking distance of just about 50 meters across Sulo Riviera Hotel.

SWP will cover hotel accommodations for the above specified nights.  Accommodations prior to and beyond these dates shall be on the personal account of the participants.  International and local calls, mini-bar, laundry, and other personal expenses shall also be charged to the participants.    

Accommodations will be on a “Twin-Sharing” basis. Single room preference may be arranged provided the cost difference will be shouldered by the participant. 

 

Meals

 Breakfast will be provided at the hotel where the participants are book for the duration of the specified dates on Item No. 3. 

Lunch and snacks will be provided at Sulo Riviera Hotel for all participants for the duration of the specified dates on Item No. 3. 

Dinner will either be provided by SWP or meal allowances will be disbursed to participants to cover their own dinner. The amount of the meal allowances to be given will be later determined as soon as arrangements have been finalized. 

Meals taken outside of these arrangements shall be on the participant's personal account. Please advise SWP on food restrictions.  

 

Flight Arrangements and Airfare

 

The airfare will be shouldered by SWP.

 

The participants are requested to immediately submit their flight bookings on or before May 30, taking into consideration the specified dates of arrival/check-in and departure/check-out in Item No. 3, and the cheapest distance from airport of origin to the Philippines at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

 

Once the participant's own booking has been submitted, the same will be referred to our travel agencies for evaluation, payment and finalization. Do not buy yet. Payments will be arranged by SWP and will be communicated to you as soon as everything has been finalized and approved. Please note, that travel and medical insurance and other costs will be the responsibility of the participant. According to the EC rules, all travels must be by economy class and in the shortest and most direct route.

 

 

Extension Stay

 

Participants who intend to arrive prior to and/or after the specified dates mentioned in Item No. 3 must do so on their own account. However, to facilitate check-in and check-out at the hotel, the details of their intended arrival and departure should be provided to SWP.

 

SWP is willing and may facilitate requests from participants who intend to go around the country and visit places of interest, or to organize back-to-back/parallel meetings at the same or other venues. Kindly communicate such intentions/plans for coordination.

 

Airport Transport

 

Transportation from the airport to the hotel should be done via airport taxi. Upon arrival and clearing immigration/customs at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), kindly proceed to the Airport Exit. Near the Arrival Area you will find Taxi Counters. Volunteers from Social Watch Philippines (SWP) will be stationed at the Airport Exit to welcome and assist participants in hiring yellow metered taxis to the assembly venue.

 Estimated taxi fare from the airport to the hotel is around PhP500. Please ask for the official receipt of the taxi fare which will be reimbursed during the assembly. 

SWP shall arrange your transfer from the hotel to the airport on the 16th of July.

 

 

Participant's Profile and Reply Form

 

Participants are requested to accomplish the attached Participant's Profile and Reply Form and submit the same to SWP before May 25, 2011.
